Innovation exhibition of the World Invention Intellectual Property Associations

In the city of Kaohsiung, the second largest city in Taiwan, WIIPA brought together 400 innovations from 26 countries around the world. The exhibition was organised on the occasion of the 5th anniversary of the World Associations, which, with its 22 member associations, became the leading innovation organisation in the world. The Zagreb Association of Innovators has been selecting and awarding the best Zagreb innovations since 1993. The award is named after the famous Croatian inventor and engineer Eduard Slavoljub Penkala. The goal of the award is to re-establish the work of E. S. Penkala as the first modern Croatian inventor, and to award the best of the best: the innovation from Zagreb which sets itself apart from the rest both technologically and commercially.
